What is QuickSource? When Should I Use It?

We’re here this month to answer our most-asked questions! These are questions we get from group leaders about Explore the Bible resources. Often, we hear the same question from many. One such question is, What is QuickSource? When should I use it?

QuickSource is a leader guide that offers a short, discussion-driven teaching plan. It includes several key elements found in our Leader Guide like the memory verse, Bible skill, and Key Doctrine.

• QuickSource is great for substitute teachers. Keeping a QuickSource on hand to offer a sub is a great idea! A leader can easily find the passage outline that offers a brief overview, the Key Words that give some biblical background, and an easy-to-use teaching plan.
• QuickSource offers an object lesson and Dig Deeper element to equip leaders. Each week you can incorporate an object lesson to communicate an important truth found in the study. You’ll also gain valuable insight into a key topic found in the passage.
• QuickSource will include additional discussion questions beginning in Fall 2023. A QR code will take you to a list of the discussion questions found in your QuickSource along with several bonus questions. More questions mean you have more choices! Choose which questions you think will connect with your group.

QuickSource is a helpful tool! Use it for substitute teachers who need to prepare quickly. Or, use it alongside your regular Leader Guide, pulling from the Dig Deeper, object lesson idea, and additional discussion questions to supplement your teaching plan.
