New Study Plan Launches This Fall

Fall is just around the corner! For many, this means a new school year, a fresh season of college football, or the beginning of a new adventure. For Explore the Bible users, this Fall marks the beginning of a new study plan.

Beginning with the Gospel of Mark, we will study each book of the Bible in the next nine years.  Your group will gain a solid understanding of the whole counsel of God. We won’t skip over or leave out any Bible book. This intentional plan will lead your group to study God’s Word, book by book.

Explore the Bible offers a robust study of each book of the Bible in context. Our goal is to equip your group with a foundation of biblical understanding so group members can live out God’s Word.

    It would be much better if you would have the studies in Biblical order. It becomes very confusing for students to jump around .

      Hi! I understand fully! Why don’t we study the books of the Bible in the order they appear in our Bibles? The study plan is created with the idea of studying books from both the Old and New Testaments over the course of a year. That way, a group doesn’t have to wait years to study one of the gospels, for example. We do covet your prayers as we do this work. Know also that we are praying for churches, group leaders, and group members as they turn to God’s Word each week.

    Thank you for a well thought out plan of study for the next 9 years. I have been a part of teaching the previous study the past 9 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. While our Sunday School was on pause during the pandemic, I continued to personally order the quarterlies from Lifeway in order to complete the 9 year study of all the Books of the Bible. I have also been incredibly inspired by the First Things First email devotional that coincides with the study. What a blessing to be part of the entire program. Sincerely, I thank you!

We don’t have an email devotional that coincides with the study, but perhaps your church creates its own devotional and emails it out to church members? Either way, we’re glad to hear about your experience with Explore the Bible!

          Hi! Yes, the Fall 2023 Leader Guide offers a few updates including QR codes linking to bonus digital content, an easier-to-use layout for the teaching plan, and a simplified commentary.     I don’t understand fully how this works. Is it on zoom, is it pre-recorded or would I have to find a local group?

    Is there a membership fee to join?

      Hi! Good questions. There is no membership. Explore the Bible offers Bible study curriculum designed for Bible study groups to use each week to study the Bible. So our team doesn’t have online or Zoom groups, but a local church might. I encourage you to find a church in your area and learn more about the Bible study groups they offer!

    I appreciate the fact that the paper is thicker in the new book. Now my notes do not bleed through to the back side! It would be helpful to know what books we are going to study for the next year because I order additional materials for study. Thanks for your help in this matter.

    Do you have anything better than the adult personal study guide for teachers? I’d love to have the maps and things to print out for my class. I think it makes it more interesting. And also to have any other thoughts, questions , etc to print out. Thanks so much.
