We often hear the same question from multiple users, so this month we are answering our most-asked questions. Choosing the right Bible study resources can be challenging! Whether you are making a decision for your own personal preparation or which guide your whole group will use, we’re here to help.
What’s the difference between the Personal Study Guide and the Daily Discipleship Guide?
- The Personal Study Guide is designed for group members to prepare in advance of each week’s lesson. When these groups gather, many group members will have already read the lesson. Alternately, the Daily Discipleship Guide is designed for groups with no advance preparation for the group member.
- The Personal Study Guide contains discussion questions and space to record your responses in the Bible study material. These questions encourage group members to reflect on what they’re learning, equipping them for an engaging discussion during your group time.
- Daily Bible readings are available in the Daily Discipleship Guide. Each week, you’ll find a discussion guide for your group’s Bible study time followed by five daily Bible readings. You’ll dive into that week’s study for a closer look at how you can apply the study to your life.
- The Daily Discipleship Guide contains the teaching plans in the back of the book. No additional Leader Guide is needed! The group member book and the teaching plans are all there in one resource. This is especially helpful for groups with more than one leader, a leader-in-training, and substitute leaders.
Both guides offer a great study of the same Bible passage, include the same Bible skill, and study the key doctrine!
