Each quarter, I look forward to journeying with the Explore the Bible production team as they go “on location” to seek new discoveries and how to use those to illuminate the Word of God in exciting new ways!
This summer is going to be particularly exciting. Sports, animals, plants, comics, nature…. there’s a little something for everyone coming up in the Summer 2016 quarter of Explore the Bible On Location.
In addition to grabbing the gear for disc golf, capture the flag, archery, and paintball, our actors find themselves in some interesting surroundings. Terra gets her own real live comic character at a comic studio (just wait until you see that one!) and visits a sheep farm while Joel hits the road to the east coast to check out sea turtles at Sullivan’s Island, SC and the oldest masonry fort in the United States at St. Augustine, FL!
What’s most fun about each of the locations chosen for Explore the Bible On Location is that each one is handpicked and chosen for a particular purpose: to help kids dig into the Word of God. Each video connects the Bible story and Text Truth is a new way and helps teachers reinforce the truths of each session so that the Word dwells deeply in the lives of our kids.
We just wrapped filming for the Fall 2016 quarter of Explore the Bible On Location. It’s going to be just as exciting—I can’t wait for you guys to see it! Until then, we will see you… on location!
