This Fall our Explore the Bible Leader Guide will feature a new format. Each week, our goal is to offer you a deeper understanding of the passage so you’ll be fully prepared to lead an engaging study. That commitment won’t change! Starting with our Fall study of the Gospel of Mark, we’ll examine keywords and phrases in our commentary. You may wonder, How is this different than the current format? Currently, we dive into the commentary using a running narrative approach. In the Fall, we’ll explore the text through the lens of the keywords and phrases found in that passage.
Here are two benefits of the new format:
- Easier to use commentary. We’re here to make your lesson prep as efficient as possible. The new simpler format will do just that by streamlining your study time. The keywords and phrases offer a straightforward style of examining a passage, with each section of study separated for easier readability.
- Quick identification of the keywords and phrases. As you study, or even as you answer group members’ questions, this format enables you to quickly locate a word or phrase for a closer look. Gone are the days of scanning several pages to find something you read earlier but didn’t mark or highlight.
We hope you find it makes your Leader Guide a simple, one-stop shop for preparing to teach!
