Explore the Bible: Kids takes into account that not all learners prefer to learn in the same way. Over the course of engaging with Explore the Bible, kids will get a taste of a variety of learning approaches that will help them dig deep into God’s Word. Here are some ways we’re using learning approaches with kids.
Visual learners will see story pictures for Babies & Toddlers and Preschool, as well as colorful books and gameboards, activity pages, and vibrant pack items that enhance learning. Younger and Older kids will see objects of the week and interactive learning elements that appeal to the eye.
Verbal learners will hear Bible stories, read books, and have opportunities to engage in conversation and deep discussion about their learning.
Logical learners will dive deep into God’s Word and experience creative games and activities that will challenge their thought and lead to discovery of deeper truths about God’s Word.
Physical learners will engage in games and other movement activities that will help their large muscles move the way they need to.
Musical leaners will sing songs and hear music to help guide them as they hear God’s Word read and uncovered.
Relational learners will engage with small groups from time to time to learn from others in their peer group.
Reflective learners will ponder with opportunities to memorize Scripture as well as deep Bible study that will help them to find truths of the Bible they may not have seen before.
Natural learners will shine bright when they see historical and archaeological objects that come from the natural world.
Each approach to learning is important and we have taken care to make sure that each person’s need is met as they engage with Scripture each week.
