In Hebrews 13:1-8, the writer introduced several different topics and ways that Christians could live out their faith. This session’s central truth is: A new covenant demands a new life. While marriage, the love of money, and other topics addressed are important — this post will specifically address hospitality and verses 1-2 of Hebrews 13. Read this post by Tony Merida titled, “Table Talk: Practicing Biblical Hospitality” and then think about the following questions:
- Do you practice hospitality in your home? At your church?
- Think about and then list some practical ways you could practice hospitality evangelism. (See the list in the article if you’re having trouble thinking of opportunities you might have).
- Tony Merida says, “Authentic ministry involves not only sharing the gospel, but also the sharing of our very lives.” Take some time to pray about how and who God might want you to share your life and the truth of the gospel with this week.
