You may have noticed a change in one of the valuable resources you use to engage parents each week. For many years the Music and Print Extras Enhanced CD has contained a printable item called Explore the Bible at Home! This great resource was a fantastic way for you to alert parents to the biblical teaching their kids received and gave suggested activities that families could do together to reinforce that learning.
Beginning with the Fall 2022 resources, that print item is no longer included on that disc because it has been replaced with a much more robust, user-friendly digital version. This new version of Explore the Bible at Home gives parents the resources they need right in the palm of their hand if that’s how they choose to use it. As a digital resource, Explore the Bible at Home has opened a myriad of possibilities that were previously untapped with a print only option. The new format includes the full text of the Bible story paraphrase, a detailed family devotion time, a link to view the current Explore the Bible on Location video featuring Joel, a time of suggested singing, the text of the monthly memory verse, two prayer prompts to guide family prayers through the week, and two activity suggestions that will reinforce the biblical exploration boys and girls experienced that week.
If you purchase Explore the Bible Kids through a digital subscription you already have full access to the digital version of Explore the Bible at Home. You should have received instructions on how to access that content when you purchased your digital content. If you purchase Explore the Bible Kids through print, you still have access to this valuable resource you can share with parents. You should receive an email from Lifeway each quarter that includes a link to this resource and its landing page. This email will be sent to the email address that is associated with your Lifeway curriculum ordering so if you can’t find it, check with the person that monitors that email address.
